Why Join the Granite State Health Care Coalition?

Local and regional disasters are likely to create a surge of patients and casualties that may overwhelm the healthcare system. The Granite State Healthcare Coalition provides the opportunity for providers, healthcare and community stakeholders to plan, prepare, and train for catastrophic events through collaboration essential to integrated disaster response.


There is no financial cost to be a General or Supporting Member of the Granite State Health Care Coalition.


General Members receive:

  • Enhanced communication with healthcare partner organizations
  • The GSHCC Newsletter
  • Educational opportunities, including assistance and logistical support arranging facility education and/or training
  • Exercise assistance, including:
    • Tabletop exercise toolkits
    • Identification of EMDs, Police, and Fire representatives in your area
    • Opportunity to participate in the annual Coalition Surge Test (CST), as applicable
  • Technical assistance during incident response
  • CMS EP Rule interpretation and guidance
  • Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) tools and templates
  • Access to forums to share lessons learned and best practices
  • Situational awareness information for current and future events, and
  • Potential to benefit from GSHCC group equipment purchases, as applicable.


In addition to all the General Membership benefits, with a signed Letter of Support from leadership of your organization, Supporting Members receive the following:

  • One voting member/organization at annual membership meetings
  • Enhanced communication with member organizations
  • Expanded educational opportunities
  • Additional exercise assistance, including preferred access to HSEEP evaluators
  • CMS EP Rule technical assistance to meet compliance standards,
  • Access to reduced pricing on GSHCC group equipment purchases, when applicable, and
  • Assistance with NIMS compliance.
