Behavioral Health
One in five people experience a mental health condition each year, and more than two-thirds of people with a behavioral health condition can’t access appropriate treatment for that condition. Ensuring access to mental health and substance use addiction treatment, along with recovery services, could not be more important for many New Hampshire patients and families.
Through a variety of private, state and federal grants, the Foundation for Healthy Communities facilitates a number of initiatives focused on behavioral health in New Hampshire by working with patients with lived experience, providers and hospitals, and partner organizations throughout the state.
