Booster trainings can be 1-2 hours in length. Topics include learning sport-specific games like kickball, soccer, basketball, or specific needs for your site like small-space games or lesson / routine planning.

Room set-up

The CKC training is active, and we will be moving!

  • The best set-up is an area where we can sit for discussion, and an area for play and movement.  For example, a gym with some tables set up in a corner for everyone to sit at. A classroom in combination with walking to a gym or cafeteria is great too.
  • If you have a screen and projector available, we can add-in the powerpoint slides for a more visually effective training. Please notify your trainer if you have this equipment.
  • Notify your trainer if you do not have this kind of a set-up available.
  • Your trainer will arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your start time to set up.
  • Your trainer will bring all equipment and paperwork.

What participants should bring:

  1. Please make sure you come prepared to participate in physical activities! PLEASE wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes (NO boots, flip flops, or heals please).
  2. A pen. You will be provided with handouts with space to take notes.
  3. Your yellow CATCH Kids Club Activity Box.
  4. Water – we will be moving!

As part of the training you will receive:

  • Training participant manuals – download here
  • CKC training completion certificates will be electronically provided through the Registry
